The Deputy Library Officer supports the Senior Library Officer in providing a high-quality library service to customers, collaborating with a range of stakeholders to organise events and activities that benefit the local community. Community outreach is a key aspect of the role, helping to ensure the library meets the needs of a diverse population. / I am also responsible for the supervision and management of the library team, ensuring that they feel supported and empowered in their roles. This is achieved through training, mentorship and regular 1-2-1’s to ensure that everyone is both happy and capable in their roles.
