Who we are
Redruth Town Council is made up of several teams, and their work ranges from asset management to the library. Together, they help the Council deliver its services and projects for the town.
Council staff are sometimes known as officers. They work alongside Councillors and report to the relevant committee or to Full Council. Click here

Councillors
The Council has 14 elected Councillors, who are sometimes known as members. They are unpaid volunteers. Their role is to represent the people who live in their ward and to make decisions on their behalf.
Staff
The Council also has a staff team who work across a wide range of areas. Staff are sometimes known as officers, and they provide professional, non-political support. Officers put Council decisions into action and manage day-to-day operations. They also give legal and procedural advice.
