Milly Mantell

As Event Coordinator for Redruth Town Council, I manage the planning, delivery and overall coordination of a diverse annual events programme. This includes the four main town festivals, St Piran's Day, Murdoch Day, International Mining and Pasty Festival and Redruth in Lights. We also run the Youth Fest and support with the organisation of the Victoria Park Fun Day. All events and festivals are uniquely produced in-house by the Council. Working collaboratively with partners, community groups and cultural venues.  / Events feature live music, dance, street performance, storytelling, and family-friendly creative workshops delivered across public spaces and community venues throughout the town. A core focus of the programme is accessibility and inclusion, with all activities offered free of charge to help encourage participation. / I work with the Marketing Coordinator and the Communications manager to Market the events to a wide audience.
