In an extraordinary Full Council Meeting on Monday, 13th April 2026, [link out to 13th April 2026 Full Council Minutes] Redruth Town Council decided to challenge Cornwall Council’s proposed use of glyphosate on the Urban Highway network throughout Cornwall. Redruth Town Council are committed to seeking alternative methods to the use of highly toxic chemicals that can have a harmful effect on the environment.
